The power of being underestimated (Quincy Jones)

On this day 17 years ago I thought I would held my firstborn in my arms....but no....she decided to stay closer to mama just a little bit longer.....allright said the doctor but just one more day and tommorrow the baby will have to come out!

The past 17 years nothing has changed, every morning she wants to stay in bed just a little bit longer.... despite her name Oriana (which is latin for Sunrise)

My golden sunshine babygirl has become a strong independent young woman trying to find her own way through life. We have come from a long line of warriors who will stand, struggle and persevere through whatever path the Lord will lead us. I know so, because I'm watching the next generation walking tall and becoming strong people making me one proud mama!

That's the power of being underestimated!
(inspired by hearing Quincy Jones say these words)
